(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he attempted to break into the Lincoln Plaza Pharmacy Tuesday at 11:12 p.m.

Bedford and Lawrence County Police went to the pharmacy when the department received a call reporting the alarm was sounding at the store.

When police arrived they found 28-year-old Randall Jamison inside the store. He was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail on charged with burglary of a commercial business, attempted theft and criminal mischief.

According to a press release from the Bedford Police Department, officers found Jamison inside the building attempting to break the front door to leave. Police ordered Jamison to lay on the ground and he was arrested without incident.

This is the second time the pharmacy has been broken into. The first happened on December 11th.

Jamison has an extensive criminal history. He was released from the jail about six months ago where he was serving a sentence for petition to revoke his probation on a burglary charge.
