(BEDFORD) - Online enrollment for 4-H begins Wednesday. The online enrollment system will allow for online payment of both the state and county fees.
Cash and check enrollment fees will also be accepted in the local 4-H office if you prefer. The deadline to enroll is April 15th.
This year a $15 enrollment fee is being assessed for each 4-H member grades 3rd to 12th. This fee is in addition to the current $5 Lawrence County fee.
These funds will be used to enhance 4-H educational resources and programming across the state. The fee will help ensure that the state 4-H Youth Development Program will continue to be one of the leading youth development programs in the nation.
The maximum out-of-pocket expenses for families with more than three regular 4-H members is $60. Mini 3-H participants will not be assessed the state fee and thus will only pay the county fee of $5.
