(BEDFORD) - Vincennes University will offer dental assistant training in Bedford during the spring 2012 semester.
The dental assistant training (DAT) program with dental radiographer prepares students for an entry-level position and includes a state-approved education program for limited dental radiographer.
The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with all areas of entry-level dental assisting and provide training in the professional skills required to function as an assistant in the dental practice.
Upon successful completion, students will earn a VU Certificate of Completion and be eligible to sit for the dental radiographer certification exam.
The DAT program will be offered in Bedford from February 7th through June 7th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9pm.
Interested persons may attend an orientation on January 4th at 6 pm at bedford North Lawrence High School, North Lawrence Career Center.
