Last updated on Thursday, December 22, 2011

(JASPER) - Two Loogootee women were hurt in a one-car accident along U. S. 231 on Jasper’s far north side near the Jasper Outdoor Recreation Club turnoff.

The Dubois County Sheriff's Department says 64-year old Rebecca Hoffman of Loogootee was traveling south on 231 when she lost control of the car. The car swerved off the highway, rolling 4 to 6 times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Hoffman suffered a chest contusion and several facial abrasions. A passenger in her car, 64-year old Phyllis Tedrow, also of Loogootee, broke her right wrist in the accident also with suffering multiple contusions.
