Two Honored By Hoosier Uplands

(MITCHELL) - Jim Oswalt and Mary Alice Brown were honored at the Hoosier Uplands Board of Directors with its’ Community Services Award.

"This award has been given for the past 24 years and is our highest honor," according to David Miller, Hoosier Uplands Chief Executive Officer.

Oswalt has served on the board for seven years and Brown has been on the board for 13 years.

"We feel very fortunate to have quality individuals like these to serve on our board," Miller said. "Without their dedication and support, this agency could not accomplish the things we have achieved."

Hoosier Uplands is a non-profit corporation that provided a variety of services in southern Indiana including, home health care, hospice, aging programs, housing and community services, Head Start and more.
