(BEDFORD) - Another school was placed on lockdown following a bomb threat on Thursday.

Officials at Shawswick Middle School reportedly found a note in a bathroom claiming a bomb was in the building.

Students and staff were evacuated and were relocated to the Leatherwood Church nearby.

Around an hour later the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department gave school officials the all clear and classes resumed around 1pm.

Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig said the investigation is ongoing.

The bomb threat at Shawswick was the 7th bomb threat in the Bedford area this week.
