(JOHNSON COUNTY) - Two adults were arrested following a child molestation investigation in Johnson County.
Metro police notified the Johnson County Sheriff's Department when they learned of a child molestation case involving a 15-year-old girl occurred in Johnson County.
Sheriff's investigators discovered the girl was taken to the home of 81-year-old Paul Hewitt in the 5300 block of Travis Road by her mother, 38-year-old April Jean Preston.
While at the residence, the girl and her mother were paid to perform sex acts on Hewitt. The teenager was also forced to watch her mother and Hewitt have sexual intercourse. Police say a total of five acts occurred since June.
Preston and Hewitt were both arrested after being interviewed by police.
Preston is facing felony charges of promoting prostitution and aiding in the commission of sexual misconduct with a minor. She is being held on a $40,000 bond.
Hewitt was charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and bonded out of jail with a $20,000 bond.
