(MARENGO) - Indiana State Police have arrested a Marengo woman for allegedly stealing more than $3,400 from her former employer.
34-year old Dusty Burnham is in jail. She has been charged with theft which is a class D felony.
State police accuse Burnham of stealing at least $3,450 dollars from her employer, Ralph's Place, a restaurant in Eckerty. Burnham was the manger.
Police say Burnham used $200 to pay for gas in her personal car and she also used $450 from a company card to pay personal cell phone bills.
The alleged thefts occurred between Sept. 1 to Oct. 31. Troopers launched an investigation on November 4th after the restaurant's owner suspected wrongdoing.
