(JOHNSON COUNTY) - A man armed with a handgun and taser was arrested in the parking lot of the Johnson County jail around 1 p.m. today.
Sheriff Doug Cox says 22-year-old Antonio Lamont Mitzs was at the station to obtain a copy of his criminal history when deputies found out there was a warrant out for his arrest.
Mitzs attempted to flee, but deputies were able to subdue him after a struggle. Mitzs is being held on $11,142 bond, and one deputy was transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained during the struggle
