(WINSLOW) - Two drivers were airlifted to an Evansville hospital Wednesday morning following a two-vehicle crash on State Road 61, north of Winslow in Pike County.

Indiana State Police blame black ice for the cause of the accident that was reported around 7 a.m.

According to police reports; Adrienne Hamm, 31, of Oakland City; was driving a 2003 Chevrolet northbound on S.R. 61 north of C.R. East 100 South. Hamm lost control of her vehicle on black ice and slid left of center and into the path of a 2003 Ford truck; driven by 50-year-old Larry Sage, of Worthington; which was traveling southbound, according an ISP report.

Sage and Hamm were airlifted to Deaconess Hospital for treatment.

Sage was listed in fair condition on Wednesday afternoon.

A passenger in Sage's truck; 29-year-old Dustin Taylor, of Washington; was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital where was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Both drivers and passenger were wearing their seat belts, according to the police report.
