(SPENCER) - Police Tuesday evening were looking for a man who may have tried to abduct two girls in Spencer.
Officials were seeking the driver of a white work van with a ladder rack on top and a sliding door on the driver's side.
The driver was described as a white male with a medium to heavy build and long dark hair. He was wearing a black long-sleeved t-shirt with writing on the arms and sweat pants with a hole in one leg.
The incident happened about 5:30 p.m. Police pulled over several vans matching the description Tuesday evening but had not located the suspect by 9 p.m.
No other information was available Tuesday night from Spencer and Owen County police.
