Linton Man Tased After Running From Police

(LINTON) - 32-year-old Joseph Ball, of Linton, was arrested after he shoved a Linton police officer shortly before midnight Monday.

Ball was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer. He is being held on a $2,000 bond.

Linton City Police Officer Michael Watt was investigating an unrelated matter and got into a scuffle with Ball at a home on 6th Street South East. Ball shoved Watt and pushed a door into him several times. Ball then attempted to flee to scene. Watt told him to stop or he'd be tased. Ball refused to stop so Watt tased him.
