Last updated on Tuesday, November 22, 2011

(DUBOIS) - The Dubois County Museum is celebrating its annual Festival of Trees which continues through December 30.

Janet Klemper, Director of Programs and Volunteers, says the Christmas tree dates back to 16th century Germany.

The festival features more than 35 beautifully decorated Christmas trees from past to present and a collection of more than 1000 Santa Clauses.

There is no charge for admission to the museum, including the Festival of the Trees. But donations are always accepted.

The museum is closed Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
