(CRANE) - Thursday will make the 70th Anniversary of what is now the Naval Support Activity Crane.
A ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. at NSA Gym, located on the base.
Colonel Alan Pratt, Commanding Officer and Duane Embree, Technical Director and Colonel Lynwood Clark, Commanding Officer Crane Army Ammunition Activity will speak at the event.
NSA Crane is the 11th largest employer in the state and 2nd largest in southwestern
Indiana. Crane employees more than 5000 people and puts an estimated 2 million dollars a day into the state economy.
