(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus man is accused of breaking into vehicles at a local hotel parking lot.

Mitchell J. Linn, 23, was arrested late Sunday after police received reports of two vehicles being broken into at the Days Inn on the west side of Columbus.

Columbus Police Patrolman James Myers spotted a vehicle at West Hill shopping center that matched the description a witness to the break-ins gave police.

When he stopped the vehicle, Myers found items allegedly stolen from the other cars and an items police believe were stolen from a Walmart store, including a DVD player, Columbus Police Lt. Joe Richardson said.
