(BLOOMFIELD) - 26-year-old Christopher Solis, of Bloomington, was arrested for stealing fall decorations from the front of Bloomfield Housing Authority’s Hi-Rise building on Main Street.
Solis told police he took the items because his kids liked the decorations and on previous visits to the Hi-Rise people had given decorations to his kids.
He was charged with theft and will appear in court on Nov. 16.
The theft was reported to Bloomfield Town Marshal on Oct. 25. After viewing surveillance videotapes, police caught Solis.
Solis and his fiance, along with her children, had visited a resident of the building the evening the decorations were taken.
