(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomfield man faces a battery charge after he got into a fight with his roommate because he refused to give him alcohol and Loratabs.
Thomas Fagan told police that on Nov.14th his room mate, 39-year-old Michael Knutson, was at their home in Bloomfield when Knutson got upset and threatened to cut Fagan's throat.
According to police, Knutson then repeatedly punched Fagan in the face and then pushed Fagan's head into the back door, breaking the glass. Knutson followed Fagan to another room and punched him in the nose and mouth.
Fagan was treated for his injuries at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital emergency room, where he was diagnosed with a broken nasal passage.
Knutson was charged with battery resulting in bodily injury. He was released from jail after posting $500 bond.
