Bedford Man Injured After Truck Goes Over Embankment

(BEDFORD) - Jonathon Greathouse, of Bedford, was injured after he lost control of his 2009 Chevrolet pick-up on the wet road ways on U.S. 50 at Hummingbird Lane early Tuesday morning.

Lawrence County Police say Greathouse was traveling west when he lost control of his truck slid left of the center line, off the north side of the road and went 60 feet over an embankment then went airborne for 48 feet landing on the rocks and an embankment then went 162 feet before stopping.

Greathouse complained of back pain but refused medical treatment.

Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department first responders assisted at the scene.
