(Pinhook) - A 17-year-old, Bedford, girl and 55-year-old Sharon Vails, of Bedford, were injured after their vehicles collided on Gunsmith Road Tuesday night.
According to Lawrence County Police reports, the 17-year-old was traveling north when she met an oncoming vehicle on her side of the road. She slammed on the brakes which caused her car to slid into Vails' vehicle.
Vails tried to avoid the collision by driving pickup off the roadway, but the teens vehicle slid into hers.
The teen complained of head pain and Vails was treated for neck pain.
