(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department’s annual fish fry will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the new fire station under construction on Doc Hamilton Boulevard.
The fundraising event will provide the public with its first chance to view the new fire station, which was paid for using a $500,000 grant from the state of Indiana.
All are invited to attend. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children younger than 12, and can be purchased the day of the event or in advance from any member of the department. The menu includes all-you-can-eat fish. Desserts will be available.
