(Spencer) - Indiana State Police arrest 23- year-old Justin B. Henson, of Indianapolis, after he attempted to flee from police in a stolen van.
Police received a call at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning reporting a possible stolen van was leaving Greene's Salvage Yard on Ramona Road.
Trooper William Brown saw the Astro Van and attempted to stop Henson. Henson refused to stop and tried to elude police by driving at a high-rate of speed and passing vehicles. Henson suddenly stopped the van, jumped out and ran. Police caught Henson after a short foot chase.
The owner of the Blue Chevy Astro Van was not aware the van had been taken from his driveway in Beech Grove.
Henson was charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle, both felonies.
