Last updated on Wednesday, October 19, 2011

(CYNTHIANA) -Three men with a Loogootee construction company were injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday around 7 a.m. on Indiana 65 near the Posey-Vanderburgh County line.

Police say 42-year-old Norman Wagler of Loogootee was partially ejected from the pickup truck. Wagler was pinned underneath the truck when it rolled over several times. Wagler suffered internal injuries and required emergency surgery at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He is listed in critical condition.

Indiana State Police say 19-year-old Jason Wagler, no relation to Norman, was driving a 2006 Ford F350 pickup truck north on Ind. 65, north of Interstate 65 when he failed to negotiate a curve. The truck left the roadway, hit an embankment, went airborne and rolled several times.

Norman and 22-year-old Stanley Knepp were ejected from the truck. Jason Wagler and another passenger, whose name was not provided, were able to crawl out of the vehicle. The men were not wearing seatbelts.

Jason Wagler and Knepp were treated at Deaconness Hospital and were released.
