(BEDFORD) - Tickets are on sale at the Lawrence County Museum for the organization’s Halloween fundraiser “Tracing the Footsteps of Sarah Schafer.”
The event will be Friday, Oct. 28 beginning at 6 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Bedford and includes an historic walk, haunted talk by Believe Paranormal and a soup dinner.
The evening covers the last hours of Schafer's life. The Bedford High School teacher was murdered on a stormy night in January 1904, and the case was never solved.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and kids under 12. Contact the museum at 278-8575 for details.
