(MITCHELL) - Mitchell and Bedford City Police Departments are investigating the cashing of forged payroll checks.
Three checks were cashed at the 60's East Side convenience store in Mitchell and two cashed at the IGA in Bedford.
According to Mitchell City Police, the forged business checks were from the Flynn-Mason Excavating and Paving Company in Bedford.
The amounts ranged from $431.90 to 439.20, and were written out to Austin Cordero, Raul Madero and Margarito Pinto.The checks had fake Mitchell and Orleans addresses on them.
Anyone with information should contact the Mitchell City Police at 849-2151.
