(COLUMBUS) - If Columbus residents find a 9-mm handgun in the area of Balsam Court they need to call police.
Columbus police want you and your children to leave it alone and report it immediately to the Columbus Police Department at 376-2600.
Police looked for the gun Friday, Saturday and Sunday following the shooting death of 50-year-old Gary Joseph Brown, of Greensburg. Investigators have not had a chance yet to question suspect Clifton H. Cook Sr., 46, of Columbus, about the gun's location, police said.
Cook was arrested Sunday in Miami after attempting to flee the country.
