Bedford Police Make Several Arrest Over Weekend

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police offices were busy this weekend responding to calls that led to several arrests:

* Three Bedford teens were arrested Friday night when they attempted to steal alcoholic beverages from CVS. A 14-year-old female and a 14 year old male were charged with theft. Another 17-year-old male was charged with theft and possession of a tobacco product.

* Officers arrested two shoplifters. The first arrest was Friday night at Wal-Mart. 23-year-old Colin Wyatt was arrested at 5:48 p.m. and charged with theft. The second was Sunday around 4 p.m. at the Family Dollar Store. Police arrested 26-year-old Jennifer Harrell and charged her with theft.

* A Bedford teen was arrested after he stole a gun from a home on the 100 block of 16th Street Saturday afternoon. The 17-year-old was charged with theft.

* A 15 year-old Bedford girl was arrested after she got into a fight with her mother at Mr. Gatti's Pizzeria on Sunday night. She was cited into court and released to her grandmother.
