(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police Department is investigating a bar fight that happened at Shorty’s Den on Wednesday.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says a 23-year-old man came to the station after he was treated at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for a head injury.
The man wanted to file charges against the man who hit him.
The 23-year-old told police he was at Shorty's when another man approached him and threatened him. The 23-year-old left and the other man followed him to the parking lot. The 23-year-old turned and fell and when he looked up the other man hit him in the head with a metal pipe.
He had friends take him to the hospital for treatment and then to the police station.
No arrests have been made. Parsley says the case is still under investigation.
