4G Phone Service Coming To Bedford

Last updated on Tuesday, October 4, 2011

(BEDFORD) - Verizon Wireless announced it will bring 4G to Bedford.

The system is 10 times faster than the current 3G speeds and offers more reliable connections and will not cost customers any fees if you already have a Verizon data plan.

The network coverage will include the more populated areas in and around Bedford, but customers are should visit the Verizon Wireless store for details on coverage.

Customers who use just voice and texting options won't notice a difference when 4G is introduced, but those using their smart phones for downloading music and videos or for computer work will notice the change.

4G increases the speed of applications and everything will download faster.

Verizon currently offers five different handset devices and a 4G mobile hotspot that allows users to run multiple devices off the same wireless modem.
