(BEDFORD) -87-year-old Ilah Kern lost consciousness after she pulled her car into the path of on-coming traffic Sunday afternoon.
49-year-old Larry Brunt, told Bedford Police officers he was driving west on John Williams Boulevard when Kern pulled her Celebrity from R Street into the path of his pick-up truck. Brunt told police he couldn't avoid the collision.
Kern regained consciousness at the scene and was taken to IU Health Bedford Hospital for treatment. Brunt had scratches on his arm but refused treatment.
