Vote Before November 8 By Absentee Ballot

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Mayor Shawna Girgis reminds voters they don’t have to go to the polls to vote, they can vote absentee.

That means you can cast your vote in the fall general election before November 8th.

Girgis, says by voting absentee you can be sure your vote is cast and your voice is heard.

To vote absentee you can:

*Request a ballot be sent to your home by filling out an absentee ballot application and faxing or mailing it to the Lawrence County Registration office at 916 15th Street.

*Go to the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office and they will assist you with an absentee ballot application.

*Vote in the Lawrence County Clerk's office October 10th - November 7th.

Anyone with questions can visit or call the Lawrence County Clerk's office and ask for voter registration at (812) 275-7543.
