(BEDFORD) - Oct. 11 is the last day to register to vote for the municipal election on Nov. 8.
Registration applications must be received in the office, by mail or in person, by the close of business that day, said Myron Rainey, Lawrence County clerk.
Voter registration forms and instructions for submitting them are available on the Secretary of State's website at www.in.sos.gov.
Voters may also register at numerous government offices, including the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Voters can check their registration status and polling places at www.IndianaVoters.com.
Rainey urges Hoosier voters to make sure their voter registration information is accurate and up to date, ensuring their voice will be heard on Election Day. Questions may be directed to the Voter Registration Office at 277-2036 or by visiting www.sos.in.gov/elections.
