(MONROE COUNTY) - Bloomington Police took a 14-year-old boy into custody for allegedly writing a threat on a bathroom wall at Jackson Creek Middle School.

Police say the boy has been referred to the county juvenile probation department, but was not actually sent to the detention center after he was arrested.

Nearly 200 students with their parents' permission did not attend school on Monday after a threat was scribbled on the wall in a boys' bathroom.
