Couple Charged With Sexual Misconduct Plead Not Guilty

Last updated on Tuesday, September 20, 2011

(BEDFORD) - An 82-year-old man and his 47-year-old wife entered pleas of not guilty in Lawrence Circuit Court Monday morning.

The court appointed public defenders for both.

Oscar L. Webb was charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, and his wife Alisa Webb, was charged with aiding sexual misconduct with a minor.

They were arrested on allegations they asked a 15-year-old family member to perform sexual acts on Oscar Webb in exchange for a trampoline.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in court to secure the arrest warrants, the 15-year-old girl was asked to perform a sexual act on Oscar Webb when Alisa Webb became too tired because she has arthritis and tendonitis in her hands and arms.

Oscar Webb admitted to police he bought the teenager a trampoline for performing the sexual act.

Webb formerly owned Webb's Tax Service and was a former Wal-Mart employee.

The Lawrence County Police Department received the information on Aug. 12 from Child Protective Services that the crime had taken place at the Webb home at 91 Bud Ikerd Road. Oscar and Alisa Webb each told police that the sexual act happened.
