Police Still Investigating Hostage Incident

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Bloomington Police are still investigating Monday’s hostage incident that resulted in police shooting and killing the suspect.

50-year-old Richard W. North was shot by a police sniper as he waved a gun in the air and held a woman hostage.

The woman has been identified as North's wife Teresa.

Police are still uncertain as to what led to the hostage situation.
