(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested the parents of three girls who were left alone in what police called a filthy apartment.
The oldest of three girls called police just after 12 noon Wednesday and said she was scared to be alone.
Police arrived at the home to find the 6 year old, along with a 5 year old and 4 year old alone in the apartment that had a strong foul odor, and old food and trash littering the rooms.
Arrested were 33 year old Josh Browning and 28 year old Jennifer Valentin.
Both were charged with felony counts of neglect of a dependent and booked in the Monroe County Jail.
