Mitchell Man Life Lined After Suffering Head Injury In Crash

(LAWRENCE COUNTY) - A Mitchell man was taken by Air Evac to the University of Louisville Hospital following a motorcycle crash last night.

53 year old Albert Small was driving his Honda motorcycle north on Fort Ritner Road last night around 9pm when a dog entered the roadway, Small swerved to avoid the dog and lost control of his bike.

The motorcycle went down on its left side and began to drag along the roadway, before ejecting Small from the motorcycle.

Small stated that he was having shoulder pain and he sustained a head injury.

Guthrie Township Volunteer Fire Department as well as IU Health Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
