(MITCHELL) - Armed robbers struck Mitchell this morning.
Four individuals robbed and roughed up a clerk at the Clark gas station at the intersection of Main Street and Stare Road 37 in Mitchell just before 3am this morning.
Two of the suspects are in custody at the Lawrence County Jail, 22 year old Matt Green and 19 year old Tommy Jones. The two other suspects remain at large.
The gas station clerk reported that one of the individuals had a gun, while another was carrying a club, police were able to recover the club and clothing the men where wearing.
The clerk was roughed up but was ok.
