(BEDFORD, IN) - A smoke test is being conducted inside the sanitary sewer system of Bedford City Utilities.
The tests will be conducted from Fifth to Sixth streets and Lincoln Avenue to P Street, from John Williams Boulevard to 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue to R Street, and Eighth Street to John Williams Boulevard and U Street to V Street.
The testing, which helps the department locate breaks and defects in the system, is set to begin today and finish on Wednesday.
Officials ask that if you discover lingering smoke inside your house during the tests, to call 275-1626.
