(PAOLI, IN) - The Orange County Auditor has resigned from her office.
Diann Mathers has since stated that she has accepted another position but has not identified her new employer.
Her resignation will become effective on August 14th.
A new auditor will be selected during a caucus Monday at 7:00PM.
Those interested in filing to serve as Orange County auditor must submit the required paperwork by 7:00PM on Friday.
