Man Arrested For Selling Firearms To Convicted Felons

Last updated on Wednesday, July 20, 2011

(ELLETTSVILLE, IN) - A Monroe County man is in federal custody charged with selling firearms to a convicted felon and illegally selling a machine gun.

This after ATF agents raided and shut down the gun shop of 61-year-old Donald Mullendore.

They confiscated up to 50 firearms from the Ellettsville shop.

U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett says agents kept Mullendore under surveillance for most of this year.

Hogsett says they believe Mullendore trafficked in stolen firearms, sold seven firearms to undercover officers and kept no records whatsoever of guns he bought or sold.
