(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The white truck seen in surveillance video in the disappearance of Indiana University student Lauren Spierer turns out to be nothing related to the case.
Investigators, who have since received more than 500 tips since the release of pictures of the truck, tracked down the owner and determined he had only driven by the Smallwood Plaza area one time at around 4:15AM the morning of Spierer's disappearance.
