(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - New details have come out regarding the altercation that took place shortly before the disappearance of 20-year-old I.U. student Lauren Spierer.
Spierer returned to the apartment building with her friend Corey Rossman after leaving Kilroy's Sports Bar at 2:30 last Friday morning.
Rossman was in the fifth floor lobby when he was punched in the face by a friend of Spierer's boyfriend Jesse Wolff.
Witnesses say Spierer and Rossman left the building and went to Rossman's apartment nearby where they stayed until Spierer left around 4:30AM, the last time she was seen.
Rossman's Attorney Carl Salzmann tells the Journal News in Westchester, New York that after the two arrived at Rossman's apartment, his roommate put Rossman to bed.
Rossman says he woke up with no knowledge of the events of the night before.
Bloomington Police say they have persons of interest in the case but would not say who or how many.
Police have searched Rossman's apartment and car as well as his credit card and cell phone records.
Salzmann would also not say if his client was a person of interest but that Rossman is cooperating with police.
Meanwhile, friends of Spierer say that Wolff has not been part of the search team because he was told he couldn't.
The Spierer family has offered a $100,000 reward for any information that leads to the finding of their daughter.
Indiana Attorney Ken Nunn announced Thursday that he's also pledging $25,000.
Earlier this week, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay offered a $10,000 reward.
