(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is involved with the search for I.U. student Lauren Spierer.

CEO Ernie Allen says they assist law enforcement with search patterns and how to proceed with an investigation like this one.

Allen says they're using "Team Adam," a group of retired law enforcement experts, to aid Bloomington Police in how to search and where to look.

He says the key is to make sure all searchers are on the same page about what to look for when out and about.
