(MITCHELL, IN) - A Mitchell man has been arrested for meth in the town of Orleans.
Police say that 33-year-old David Alan Hutslar was arrested on June 3rd on charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine within 1000 feet of school property, and two counts Manufacturing Methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a public park after a joint investigation by Indiana State Police, Orange County Sheriff Department, Indiana Fire Marshal and the Orleans Police Department.
Police were initially called to a house fire at the corner of Second and Monroe Street in Orleans on June 2nd.
When the fire was extinguished, fire crews discovered what was later determined to have been a meth lab inside the burnt residence.
