(MITCHELL, IN) - Mitchell city officials are investigating the vandalism of a city landmark.
City officials noticed that the Gus Grissom Memorial had been spray painted last week.
Some say the markings appear to be similar to that of 'Folk Nation' which is an alliance of street gangs based in the Chicago area.
The Mitchell Mayor's Office is currently offering a reward of $500 for anyone with information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the markings.
