Indiana University Begins Fundraiser To Replace Storm Ravaged Trees

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University has begun the fundraising effort to replace nearly 300 trees lost to storm damage.

Former I.U. Trustee Stephen L. Ferguson and his wife Connie have donated 150 trees to begin the process.

President Michael McRobbie says he and his wife will also donate the funds to purchase and plant 30 new trees on the campus.

Both men are encouraging alumni and friends of the university to donate to the cause as well.
