(GOSPORT, IN) - A Springville man was arrested on Tuesday after stabbing a relative during a visit at a private lake west of Gosport.
32-year-old Thomas Moore of Springville was booked into the Owen County Jail on preliminary felony charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon.
38-year-old Layander Honeycutt II suffered a superficial wound on his stomach and back.
Officials say the stabbing happened sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
Gosport Elementary School was placed on lock down for a short time during the investigation.
