(NEW ALBANY, IN) - One Salem man was arrested following a coordinated investigation into a large scale marijuana trafficking organization.
47-year-old Cecil Cavanaugh was arrested when officers discovered over 600 pounds of marijuana belonging to the crime organization.
Investigators say that the drugs were smuggled across the United States and Mexican border in Laredo, Texas, on December 10th of last year.
Around $387,000 were also seized from Zefferino Trejo's residence in Seymour.
