Pump Prices Continue To Jump Around

Last updated on Monday, May 30, 2011

(UNDATED) - As pump prices continue to jump around, officials with Triple A Hoosier Motor Club admit they’re not sure what to expect.

Greg Seiter says there's no "foreseeable reason" for gas prices to climb above the $4 a gallon mark once the summer is in full swing.

But, that's with a caveat of nothing out of the ordinary, such as unrest in parts of the Middle East, domestic terror threats, or tropical weather hitting the Gulf of Mexico.

Prices around Indiana had been down around $3.50 or $3.60 for regular and then spiked back up to around $3.95 ahead of Memorial Day.
