(PAOLI, IN) - A Paoli man was arrested on Friday when officers attempted to stop him for not using his turn signals and then trying to run from officers.
36-year-old Timothy C. Chastain failed to use a turn signal at NE Third and NE Oak streets.
During the course of the traffic stop, officers became suspicious that Chastain was impaired.
When a police K-9 unit gave a positive alert to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle Chastain began to flee the scene.
Police were able to tackle the man before he got away.
